Foodies: Your Neighborhood Gem for Breakfast and Brunch in Englishtown

Cute little restaurant. Stopped in for the first time right before Christmas. The the food was fantastic. The service was also great. Everyone was friendly and kept the Coffee coming. I had the foodies poached eggs and my daughter had pancakes with strawberries and bananas. Coffee was hot and tasty. Will definitely stop in again.

So this was my first time eating at this restaurant. A friend recommended that go there for lunch. He did he had visited several times before with his wife and the meals were excellent. It was formerly known as Luchento's under a previous owner. I had the Greek cheese burger and he had the Mexican style cheese burger. Both were excellent and perfectly cooked. The French fries were chunky and crispy. Service was quick and friendly and the food was on the table within 10 to 15 minutes. Prices were fair and reasonable. There are not a lot of tables but I believe the dining area can seat about 30 people. I would definitely like to try other dishes and will be back. Because I only ordered a burger, I could not give it 5 stars at this time. I appreciated that the new owner is hands on and she greeted the patrons as they entered and left.

Great little local place. Server John was the bomb. Nice selection of breakfast items and specials. Will go again when I'm in the area.

We went for ice cream next door at Brain Freeze when it suddenly got VERY cold outside. The Foodies proprietor took us in for a warm place to sit and enjoy our ice cream even though most of us had already eaten dinner. I did enjoy a fantastic friend chicken dish, and the kids loved the mozzarella sticks. Most of all, the whole staff was so welcoming and friendly. It really made for an unexpectedly cozy evening out. Thanks Foodies! We will be back!!

Wonderful Mom & Pop style diner, great service and even better food with a wide variety of menu items. Definitely will be revisiting at some point no complaints here, the broccoli potato skins were a must try as well.

Foodies is a fabulous family run local restaurant. The owners go out of their way to do whatever it takes to keep their customers happy. Food is consistently fresh and delicious. it’s great having this local family restaurant!! You Must give it a try!!

Not a lot of folks know about this American restaurant. Located in Manalapan across the ice cream shop. Looks small, however they have lots of seating further inside. Restaurant is very decent and the food is also good. Nothing to complain. Kids friendly as well. Plenty of items to choose from the menu. For some reasons l felt our waitress was pretty rushing as the restaurant was very busy. You do get coffee refills without extra charge. Home fries weren’t so great hence I prefer fries over home fries. Overall the food, atmosphere and service were up to the mark. Definitely go to choice for dinner. NOTE: Credit cards incur 3% service charge to the customer.

This is our second time at Foodies in Englishtown, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We’ve been to a lot of diners all over New Jersey, and Foodies is easily at the top of our list, if not number one. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know you’ll leave happy every time.
